Brooke Cohen has practiced law for over 25 years and for most of her career has represented people that have been injured by defective products and dangerous medications. In part, Brooke has handled Transvaginal Mesh Cases, Dow Breast Implant Cases and has been involved in the Essure litigation. Practicing in the area of mass torts came as a natural fit to Brooke, in that prior to practicing law she worked as a health care lobbyist in Washington, DC. Brooke also represents women in single event cases related to assault.
Brooke graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University in New York where she was a women’s history major. She then went on to work in Washington for several years before attending Southern Methodist University School of Law in Dallas, Texas. Her passion for issues affecting women was sparked by her college major and has continued throughout her career - with empathy and integrity. She believes each client’s voice should be heard.
Brooke has two children, one son and one daughter. She will tell you that the transition to empty nesting was tough, as many parents know, but she will also tell you that it has freed her up to work even more arduously on cases that help others; an endeavor which helps fulfill that void.
